Olaf Ungerer and Dr Jean-Michel Laffargue will join Gulde & Partner in Munich in 2026.

In January 2026, we will welcome Olaf Ungerer, who brings over 30 years of experience in international patent law, particularly in the fields of electrical engineering and telecommunications.

He has a distinguished track record in drafting, prosecuting, and defending German, European and international patent applications and is particularly renowned for his strength in oral proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the German patent authorities. He also has extensive experience in opposition and appeal proceedings.

Dr Jean-Michel Laffargue brings in-depth knowledge in the fields of semiconductor technology, telecommunications, medical technology and other technical disciplines. He complements our team with his international experience and language skills in French, English, German and Dutch. 

With the arrival of Olaf Ungerer and Dr Jean-Michel Laffargue, we are setting a strategic milestone for our Munich office.
