Suraj Singh Attri has been active in the field of intellectual property, specifically patents, since 2011 and has extensive experience with drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Suraj holds an LL.M. in intellectual property and competition law from Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC), Munich, Germany. During his LL.M., he submitted his master’s thesis on ‘Infringement of ICT-related patents in the US and Europe’. He also holds an engineering degree in electronics & communication from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering (BVCOE), New Delhi, India and a post graduate diploma in cyber laws from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, India. During his professional career, Suraj has also attended various IP-related courses and programs to attain a deeper understating of the field.

Before moving to Germany for higher education, he worked for a reputed law firm and a multinational IT company in India.  Suraj worked with Gulde & Partner from 2018 to 2022 and during this period he completed his training to become a European Patent Attorney. After a brief hiatus, Suraj joined the firm again in 2024.

Suraj Singh Attri is a European patent attorney since 2022 and a registered patent agent with the Indian Patent Office since 2013.
