Beate Dücker has been working in human resource management, HR Leadereship and organisational development since her master's degree in 2006 and has many years of experience as a human resource manager, lecturer and author. Ms Dücker was able to acquire her international expertise through numerous stays abroad in England, Spain and China over several years.

At Gulde & Partner she is responsible for all tasks of operative and strategic HR management. In doing so, she places a special focus on the continuous internal development of structures and communication levels, strong employee retention and high employer attractiveness.

 

Yehan Feng

Yehan Feng graduated a master degree in economics at the Free university of Berlin. She also studied in London. Ms. Feng joined Gulde & Partner in 2005 and she works as the head of the Beijing Office representative office since 2008. After that she became a Chinese attorney at law and was called to the Chinese bar.

Ms. Feng advises Chinese clients with respect to patent-, trademark- and design prosecution in Europe and Germany. She also advises in non-prosecution matters such as patent litigation, the risk of companies entering the EU market; Freedom-to-Operate analyses; protective letters for exhibitions in Germany and the like.

Shoko Mitani took a master degree in Agricultural Chemistry at the University of Tokyo in 1993.

Since 1993 until 2007 she worked as a patent examiner in Japan Patent Office with a specialization in Polymer Science. In 2000 she joined EPO and JPO exchange working program at EPO Haag Office (the Netherlands). In 2003 she stayed at University of California, Riverside (USA) as a Japanese government-supported researcher with a specialization in environmental science and IP activity.

In 2008 she qualified as a Japanese patent attorney. She worked as an independent patent attorney and as an advisor of Izawa&Izawa Patent Office (Tokyo, Japan). In 2009 she joined Gulde & Partner.

Uwe Richter

Uwe Richter studied International Business Relations at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow. In 1981/1982 he worked at the East German Embassy in Tokyo and later in 1982 took a degree in Economics, Japanese, English and Russian at the University of Moscow.

Between 1983 and 1988 Uwe Richter worked as a head of department in a German company where he was in charge of the export of machine tools to Asia, in particular Japan and China. From 1988 to 1990 he worked as a technology transfer manager for the Berlin Academy of Sciences. He then joined the Berlin branch of the Japanese TOMEN CORPORATION, where he worked until 1990.

Since 1994 Mr. Richter has been Managing Partner of Spreepatent Ltd., a company specialising in technology transfer between Europe and Asia. Since that time Uwe Richter has also assisted Gulde & Partner as Consultant for their Asian activities.
