Jörg K. Grzam took a degree in law at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena with a specialisation in Intellectual Property Law. Prior to his studies he trained as a mechanical engineer at NILES-SIMMONS, a company producing machine tools. His practical work experience enabled Jörg K. Grzam to easily grasp complex technical matters and to link them to relevant legal issues, as is required in cases of trademark, design and patent infringement proceedings, for instance.

Jörg K. Grzam was called to the Bar in 2001 and joined the firm of Gulde & Partner the same year. He has been a Certified IP Law Specialist since 2007.
