Ingo Ludwig studied technical physics at the University of Essen, focusing on vacuum and thin film technology. Subsequently he was active in the field of research and development in international and medium-sized enterprises. His range of tasks included optical storage media, discharge lamps and special machine construction among others.

Since 2007, Mr. Ludwig has worked in the field of intellectual property rights. He is in charge of patent granting procedures before the German and the European Patent Office as well as before the Patent Offices of Japan, China, Russia and the USA among others, starting with inventor counseling through grant of the patent. Inventions in the fields of tempering systems and connectors for automotive applications, slinging, lashing and lifting means as well as sports and office equipment are the technological focus of his work.

Mr. Ludwig joined Gulde & Partner in the year 2012.
