Sachin Manocha holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Physics from the University of Delhi, India, and an LL.B. from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, India. He also holds a NPTEL certification in Patent Law from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India.

Mr. Manocha has extensive experience in representing companies in IP matters. His expertise especially extends to the domains of mechanics, electronics, information technology, bio-medical devices, and material sciences.

Before joining GULDE, Mr. Manocha has worked for top-tier IP law firms based in Delhi where he mainly worked on handling IP portfolio(s), strategizing, and advising the clients as well as on the entire spectrum of patent drafting and prosecution in India, EP, and the US. During this time he also gained experience in the field of patent litigation, including oppositions, appeals, revocations, and infringement proceedings involving appearances at the Indian Patent office (IPO) and the Indian Court of Law.

Alongside, Mr. Manocha has advised clients with respect to freedom to operate analyses, infringement analyses, patent invalidation searches, and patentability & prior art searches.

Mr. Manocha has been registered as a patent agent with the Indian Patent Office (IPO) since 2018.

He joined GULDE & Partner in 2021.
