Tobias Nickel studied physics with a focus on solid state physics as well as nanostructure and semiconductor physics at the University of Hamburg. During his diploma thesis, Mr. Nickel dealt with the structural, electrical as well as magnetic properties of epitaxial metal compounds on semiconductor substrates.

After obtaining his diploma degree in 2012, Mr. Nickel initially worked as a management consultant, optimizing a wide variety of production areas for medium-sized and corporate clients with the goal of lean production.

Since 2015, Mr. Nickel has been active in the field of intellectual property law, receiving his registration as a German Patent Attorney in 2018 and his registration as a European Patent Attorney in 2019.
