Alex Griffin studied physics with a focus on biophysics at the Free University of Berlin and wrote his master's thesis entitled "Single-molecule TIRF microscopic studies on protein-DNA interactions". Furthermore, he acquired extensive practical experience through his work as a software developer at Werner Maschinenbau GmbH with a focus on programming and supporting scribing embossing systems and laser marking systems for the automotive industry.


He has been working at Gulde & Partner since 2018.
