Dr. Jakub Jadwiszczak

Jakub Jadwiszczak graduated from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland with a B.A. (Mod) in Nanoscience, Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2019. His research—for which he received an award from Intel Ireland—focused on helium-ion beam engineering of memristive 2D semiconductor devices.

He then carried out three years of postdoctoral research at Columbia University, New York, USA, focusing on mixed-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures and post-processing of ASIC chips for CMOS integration with biological systems.

From 2022 to 2025, he was an in-house editor for Nature Communications, assessing manuscript submissions in the field of topological physics.

In 2025, Dr. Jadwiszczak joined Gulde & Partner, where he is pursuing qualification as a European patent attorney.
