Michael Gutnikov
Michael Gutnikov studied physics at the Technical University of Dortmund and at the University of Bologna, where he specialized in laser physics, vacuum systems and surface technologies. His master's thesis focused on the manipulation of fundamental electronic and magnetic properties in two-dimensional semiconductor systems using ultrashort optical pulses and alkali metal doping.
During his studies, Mr. Gutnikov completed several internships in intellectual property law, including one at Gulde & Partner. After successfully completing his studies, he further deepened his knowledge of experimental solid-state physics as a visiting research fellow at Boston University and during a research internship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In 2024, Mr. Gutnikov returned to Gulde & Partner as a patent engineer. He is also currently gaining further technical experience at Volkswagen AG, where he is working on the investigation of innovative sensor systems.
