Annabel Kropf

Annabel Kropf studied physics at the University of Göttingen and at the Technical University of Munich. During her master’s degree, she conducted research at the Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble, before moving to the German Electron Synchrotron DESY to pursue her PhD.

There, she worked on future particle physics experiments and advanced novel methods for particle track reconstruction and analysis. A key focus of her work was the development of algorithms for quantum computers and the use of machine learning for pattern recognition in complex datasets.

In January 2026, Annabel Kropf began her training as a patent attorney at the law firm Gulde & Partner.
