Linda Wansing studied life sciences at the University of Münster, where she completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees and specialised in the field of (plant) biotechnology from an early stage.

For her PhD, she moved to the University of Hamburg’s Institute of Plant Sciences and Microbiology (IPM). There, she conducted research as a research assistant within the framework of the ERC-funded large-scale project ‘PLAMORF’ in the field of molecular plant genetics.

Her scientific work focused in particular on methods of biotechnology, protein biochemistry, and protein synthesis and analysis. Further areas of focus included microscopic analyses and questions relating to genetics, RNA biology, signal transduction, plant physiology and microbiology.

Im April 2026 begann Linda Wansing ihre Ausbildung zur Patentanwältin bei Gulde & Partner.
