Annika Biesold

Annika Jana Biesold studied Molecular Medicine at the University of Regensburg and furthered her knowledge during her Master’s degree, specialising in microbiology, neurology and immunology.

She devoted her Master’s thesis to translational research into the dynamics of neutrophils in the context of chronic pain.

As part of her scientific work, she also focused on SARS-CoV-2, SGLT2 inhibitors and neurological issues, which she explored in greater depth during a research placement at the University of Bergen, Norway.

She gained practical experience at renowned research centres in Munich, Regensburg and Würzburg, as well as at a GMP-regulated diagnostics company, where she was involved in the quality control of pharmaceutical end products.

Ms Biesold has been working at Gulde & Partner since April 2026 and is seeking admission to practise as a German and European patent attorney.
